Artist Statement:
Alice Kresse makes jewelry using nontraditional materials. Her background as a graphic designer and printmaker is reflected in her clean-lined, modern style and use of color. She works with paper, polypropylene, polyester, silicone rubber, epoxy resin, and stainless steel, which she combines with traditional precious metals and gems.
