Pat Arnold, after twenty-five years in the computer industry, found herself turning in a new direction, peeling back the layers of organization, drive and control to explore and reveal her artistic self.  In glass she has found the perfect combination of beauty and technology with which to express herself. 

As a child she sat mesmerized watching the light play off her aunt’s collection of Depression glass.  In these two works she has used texture and color shifting glass to create a playground for the light.  While the glass is static in its form, the light never is.
