Mara Mayor loves the color and texture of tiny beads, particularly the Japanese delica beads that permit both experimentation and precision. She weaves them into intricate necklaces that are comfortable and eye-catching.  Two years ago she entered the Montgomery County Fair, and earned first place in both jewelry and beadwork.  Her work was selected recently for a juried show at Strathmore Mansion.
