Laurie Erdman came to pottery in search of a creative outlet.  She quickly fell in love with the medium and has studied at the Art League in Alexandria, Castle Hill Arts Center in Truro, Massachusetts and as far away as La Meridiana  International School of Ceramic Art in Italy.  Ceramics has taught Laurie not to take life too seriously.  As a result, she tries to add a touch of whimsy to her nature inspired vessels, as an expression of the joy she feels while at the potter's wheel.
